My ex left me a week before Christmas. Her apartment was literally next door to my best friend's. I had to see her with her new guy out at the bar every time I went out. And it played out exactly like this song. I still think about her everyday...but it's really rewarding on my end. She lost the best thing that ever happened to her - I didn't.
