I agree. I think Western powers shouldn't have intervened in Libya. I don't see why we should waste hundreds of billions of dollars in munitions to topple a secular regime. Gaddafi's still overall a shitty leader for bombing his own people. Honestly, though, I don't think those lives are worth saving. The West doesn't care as long as Africans are killing Africans.

I never looked to those dictators in the first place find most of them very evil, but I personally feel gaddaffi was a half way decent leader if you look at what he has did for libya. Also his downfall was caused by western countries interfering with his government.

Exactly. By praising African strongmen, you are effectively giving legitimacy to authoritarian regimes (many installed by the West). If you want good examples of African leadership, look to Patrice Lumumba and Nelson Mandela.
