With that logic, nothing is American.
Nothing is European. Nothing is Polynesian. Nothing is Asian.
We all need to get our greedy asses back to the little ancestral pocket of Africa and die.
You included.

I practically have an orgasm when I see/hear this theme. This show ran for every single year I was in school, from 1968-1980 or so.
I'm glad the younger guys today can see how truly cheesy and phony 1970s television was....Man, I miss those days..

Sigh - our elders always teach us - we can't go back - they weren't there, we weren't there - we are here today - move forward. Yep - we Natives have been affected by what has happened in the past - but keep what we have and move forward. That is the whole gyst of what I carry forward from my tribal elders - so yep we are now a part of the US - :)

This show probably did more for the tourist industry in Hawaii than anything else, ever. The line, "Book 'em, Dano!" really referred to booking the tourists' plane tickets and hotel rooms.

@expertinmovies No worse disaster has ever befallen the Hawaiians than their invasion and occupation by the Americans. Same goes for the Cherokee, the Creek, the Six Nations, the Kiowa, the Commanche...
It's hilarious to say that the US empire is "protecting" any of their conquered subjects from "threats from any other outside countries"; at least you did say "other"...

@TheBillswill Zulu as Kono? Kam Fong as Chin Ho? Are you serious?? Why don't they just use their real names? |
