Leonard Cohen is an absolute musical legend, if there ever was one. All modern songwriter owe something to his work. He's just release a new record called "Old Ideas". In a really cool side project called, "Old Ideas with New Friends", some of the great bands of now have been covering Leonard Cohen Songs. Everyone from Cold War Kids and the Cults to Nicole Atkins and the Mountain Goats have participated thus far, with more to come. It's pretty cool—go check it all out (esp. the CWK vid!!).
